Across large commercial and retail estates, ageing or legacy control panels can limit system performance, visibility, and long-term reliability of Ground Source Heat Pump (GSHP) systems. Replacing these panels requires careful planning to manage electrical isolation, maintain operational continuity, and ensure safe execution in live environments.

Technical Scope:

• Safe isolation and shutdown of GSHP systems and associated building controls

• Planned electrical isolation using LOTO (Lockout-Tagout) procedures to ensure safety and compliance

• Coordination of panel installation, including lifting operations where required (e.g. roof-mounted or restricted access locations)

• Structured termination and testing process prior to energisation

• Full commissioning of GSHP systems to verify performance and correct operation

• Detailed site planning to accommodate complex access requirements and live operational environments
